Port Lands Flood Protection & Enabling Infrastructure Project: Bridges and Engineering Contract, Toronto, ON

Designed to provide flood protection for the Port Lands at risk of flooding under a Regulatory Storm / 100-Year Storm event as well as the creation of critical infrastructure to support local growth.

All 4 bridges have been designed as City landmarks, and accommodate vehicular traffic, an interim BRT (Bus Rapid Transit), future LRT (Light Rapid Transit), dedicated bike lane and generous sidewalks. Hanscomb’s services include Master Plan Estimating, Cost Planning and Control and Value Management.
