Kwantlen Polytechnic University, Chip and Wilson School of Design, Richmond, BC

Providing a collaborative space for a range of design programs and bachelor’s degrees, this 5-storey heavy timber structure adds 140 full-time seats to give KPU a total of 681 spaces for design students.

Collaboration extended to the Owner, Design Team and Hanscomb who rose to the challenge at every step to bring the project on budget. Hanscomb’s services for this Design Bid Build project include Master Plan Estimating, Value Management and Cost Planning and Control including change orders.
