Francophone Secondary School, Whitehorse, YT

The territory’s first francophone secondary school, this one storey, 3,600 m2 facility with mezzanine and gymnasium is constructed as a heavy-duty wood framed structure utilizing existing infrastructure work completed for the old F.H. Collins school design.

The Design Bid Build project considers Yukon First Nations’ participation and northern experience as part of the construction contract. Hanscomb’s services for this Public-Private-Partnership project include Master Plan Estimating, Value Management and Cost Planning and Control including change orders.
