About Project

Built in 1822 as the first Roman Catholic parish church in Toronto, its remarkable historic restoration includes the conservation of the exterior façade and 84-metre tower, reinforcement of foundations, construction of a new balcony and a crypt chapel, as well as new public bathrooms.
Bishop Michael Power, the first bishop of Toronto was buried in a tomb under the altar. His body and along with dozens of others were disinterred and reburied during renovation. Hanscomb’s services for this complex major Construction Management project include Master Plan Estimating and Value Management including change order review.
