About Project

The first national museum created in Canada since 1967 and first to be located outside the National Capital Region, this 265,000 square foot facility is intended to increase understanding and awareness about human rights.

At the centre is the 30-storey Tower of Hope that supports a vast glass shape - The Cloud - which contains many of the galleries and public spaces. Hanscomb’s services for this Design Bid Build project include Master Plan Estimating, Value Management and Cost Planning and Control including change orders.
